Connect Groups are at the heart of our church family.
Whether you are new to HTC or have been here for years, if you want to grow in Christian discipleship together with a local community, we’d love for you to join a Connect Group.

Joining a Connect Group
Currently, we encourage everyone wanting to join a Connect Group for the first time, to do so by participating in one of the following two courses:
Alpha
-
Alpha is for everyone with questions or curious about exploring faith, life and God. We don’t assume any background knowledge or belief in Christianity. Come along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
Alpha at HTC starts on 6th May 2025 with the option of a morning or evening course.
The morning course is from 10am with refreshments and the evening course is from 7.30pm, with supper included. Both include a short talk and small group discussions afterwards.
Grove
The
-
This is HTC's dynamic discipleship course for anyone new to the church, not yet in a Connect Group, or those looking for additional input. Our faith was never meant to grow in isolation. Like trees in a grove, we thrive side by side; rooted in truth, shaped by the Spirit, and growing into lives that bear lasting fruit for Jesus. Growing Roots. Building Faith. Bearing Fruit. That's what The Grove is all about.
Sign up to The Grove and grow a life that flourishes, in every season, for a lifetime.
The Grove takes place on Monday nights at HTC, beginning on 8th September 2025.Each night will involve eating dinner together, uplifting worship and prayer, and thought-provoking talks and discussions on some of life's biggest faith-related questions and topics.
It starts with dinner at 7.15pm and it’s all finished by 9.30pm.
